Memory clock too high

I think my memory clock is getting too high and causing every game to crash, i have a msi gtx 750 oc 1gb, according to game debate its memory clock is 1253mhz but it runs at close to 2100mhz in game. Some times the card will lock and runs at 405mhz with no problem at all (except from low fps).
So i want to underclock it to get to stock speeds but afterburner wont go low enough.

There are some issues with monitoring and reporting the memory clocks. Your card uses GDDR5, which has a basic memory clock and then a data rate (effective memory clock) that's 4 times as high. In your case, the basic memory clock is 1250 MHz, corresponding to an effective memory clock of 5000 MHz.

But it gets even worse, because for some reason some programs would report that speed as 2500 MHz (double the basic clock).

So first you need to be figuring out what memory clocks your card is actually running. There's a good chance it's running exactly the way it's supposed to, and the programs are just giving you confusing info.

some games work fine in a small window running about 100-400mhz but when i maximize and play in 1080p the mhz goes to about 1000 and the games all crash
