I have a dual band router. I have an XBox One connected to the 5Ghz network, and my computer is connected by ethernet. I would like to stream games from my XB1 to my PC, but since the 5Ghz band is a completely different SSID, I can't. (Yes, I know that the 5Ghz is for wifi and not ethernet, but I HAVE to connect my Xbox to the 5Ghz band which is a different SSID.)

Solution
The SSID doesn't matter. If your PC is connected via a wired link (or even 2.4Ghz), all the devices on the router have the same IP subnet and can access each other. You should be able to ping your Xbox from your PC.

IF your Xbox is connected to a GUEST WIFI SSID, then it would have no access to a wired connected PC.
