Ever since I got into PC gaming I've been using the Logitech G230 headset. The other day I purchased the Sennheiser CX 300 II Precision earbuds to replace my old earbuds. Now I'm thinking maybe these could be used in place of my G230.
I know headsets are generally better for gaming for their surround sound capabilities but I know people who use earbuds that work similar. I mostly play FPS games like CS:GO where hearing things around you is crucial and a good bit of more casual games.
I'll experiment with them when I can but any advice/information is appreciated.
