Pc won't detect GTX 1080 after power outage.

PC turns on with Intel(R) HD Graphic 530 instead of GPU.
Tried reinstalling driver's, but it won't detect the GPU.
Tried all inputs in GPU to Monitor and no signal in monitor.(Only MOBO HDMI Port show signal.)
No detection in device manager about the GPU.

My PC specs are:
- Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz
- Cooler Master Hyper D92 CPU Cooler
- Asus Z170-P D3 ATX LGA1151
- Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600Mhz
- Transcend SSD370 128GB
- Western Digital Blue 2TB
- EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Founders Edition
- Corsair SPEC-ALPHA ATX
- Corsair VS 650W ATX

OBS: Bought this PC not even a year ago, smthng like 4-6 months.

It has all kinds of protection I am sure. But it is impossible to protect against everything.

It is possible the card has a manufacturing or component defect that made it susceptible to a sudden loss of power.

It might not even be the GPUs fault. The motherboard supplies power to the GPU, the power supply to both. Either could have mis-regulated a voltage during power loss that got through the UVP, OVP, OCP type safeguards in there.

If you happen to have an older GPU around, you should give that a try as well. Make sure the slot isn't a card killer.

This is why UPS are a thing, I hope you at least had a surge suppressor?

I would take the GPU out of the slot and give it a quick visual inspection for any burnt or damaged components. If nothing looks amiss, re-insert it and see if that does the trick. After that try another slot.

If that doesn't work, you should try another computer. If that fails, and there are no signs of physical damage. RMA with EVGA. It should have at least a one year warranty if not more.

I actually tried taking out of the slot and looked at it.. it doesn't have any physical damage or any damaged that I can look at the Ge-force LED turns on with the fan and still nothing, maybe tomorrow i'll take it to where i still have the warranty from see what I can do with it. I'm just amazed about how it is even possible to such a high end GPU that doesn't have any protection against it.

When I have a power outage in my area I unplug my system since when the power comes on it sometime surges and can damage your computer components.

If you can try the GPU in another computer see if it is dead there too. If it is under a year it should be under warranty test it quickly and exchange it if it doesn't fire up.

Once I had a customer that had plugged their office computer into one of those power t that allows you to plug 3 items into one socket. Then they plugged in their copier and tried to make copies. Their computer went dark and wouldn't turn on. After I put it on my work bench and tested everything I found their VGA card was dead and I could see a ic on it was toasted.
