when i plugged in external device to my laptop(HP 15 r203TX)
Windows 7 doesn't automatically detect it.
I didn't have this problem back in win 8.

To make it detect it I would have to go to device manager,
right click on "USB Drives" and click on "Scan for hardware changes" for it to detect.
and I already installed all the drivers for it and there is no hardware problem.
i have HP 15 r203TX laptop.

Hey there, Pritish_4.

Does that happen with all the USB ports of that laptop? It's a bit of an odd issue. I'd recommend that you try updating and/or reinstalling the laptop's drivers (more importantly the ones associated with the mobo), to see if that fixes things up.
You could also try running a Windows update, in case this turns out to be an OS problem which might be fixable through an update.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how it goes.
