I used to have one of those small, shiny black ASUS 1000He eee that ran WinXP and it rocked for it's time. I really missed that thing and for Christmas I got a replacement battery for it and I am so happy. That is until I deleted something I shouldn't have and now it's not making a wireless connection anymore. I'm am fuming mad!!!! Normally I would just reformat but I have no access to a 3.5 drive.

It's showing a red x on top of the tiny monitor in the bottom right corner like I am missing some drivers or something. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

I GOT IT WORKING!!!!! I went into BIOS (pressing the F2 button) and for some reason the WLAN was disabled!!! Went in and changed it to enabled and VIOLA!!!!! It hasn't been used in 8 years so maybe it reverted back to it's stock settings......who knows but we are up and running!!!!!

Of course the smartphone is the most convenient but after a while your arm begins to hurt plus it's a small screen. A laptop is a little over the top especially when you have to drag it around with you. Netbook seems to be the perfect size.
