Mobo: ASRock 970 PRO3 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD
GPU: GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX
CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz (4.1 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
OS: Windows 10

Okay, last night I installed the Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler on my mobo (without removing the mobo)
Everything was fine, I ran prime95 for around 45min and it passed all the tests during that time frame.
TODAY: I powered up and my screen kept flashing and I saw a notification "Driver Failed to Start".
I then tried to open GeForce Experience and it failed to launch.
Moving forward I did a restart and the same thing happened, this time around I went to Nvidia's website and downloaded the driver manually but before I could install it, my computer force logged me out.
Que the Gray screen, driver failure loop...
This went on for awhile, I checked to make sure all my fans were running (esp on the GPU).
Luckily I was able to get into Safe Mode and install the driver.

Currently everything is normal, BUT when I open certain programs or switch between them my screen flashes black, basically like I am blinking.
Did I damage my mobo when installing the Cooler?
Is this still a driver issue?

Not sure where to go from here.
I planned on Overclocking my CPU from 3.5 to 4.2 but I'm not sure if there is an underlying issue that may get worse when Overclocking.

Solution
I rolled back my drivers and everything is back to normal.
Looks like the newest Nvidia drivers and Windows 10 updates aren't playing well together ATM.
Thanks for the feedback!

More likely than damaging your motherboard, you may have damaged your graphics card. Or even more likely, you bumped something, like a power cable, or knocked the card precariously out of its slot. Or even even more likely, you bumped a RAM stick, making everything unstable. I'd start by replugging everything (fan headers, GPU, RAM, etc.) and see if it all comes back to normal.

Who knows? Maybe you accidentally kicked a display cable, and it just ever so slightly falling out of its socket is causing your issues.
