I'm looking for a laptop that can run most game at medium to low settings. I've narrowed my search down to 5 options, however I'm having trouble selecting the best one from the group. I was hoping that somebody here can help me. I'll link my selections below.

I purchased the Dell Inspiron 15 7559 with the Core i5-6300HQ and 256GB SSD recently. It is a pretty good laptop, but I didn't have the time to heavily stress the laptop yet. I installed a 1TB 2.5" hard drive and 8GB stick of RAM for now. The 256GB SSD is adequate for now, but I eventually I would like to replace it with a 1TB m.2 SATA SSD and replace the recently installed 1TB 2.5" hard drive with a 2TB 2.5" SSD.

You do not need more than a Core i5-6300HQ to play games. The Core i7-6500HQ does run about 300MHz faster and does have Hyper Threading (HT). However, a 300MHz difference only gives at best a minor increase in performance which you will need to use benchmarks to tell the difference in games. Also, games do not benefit from HT...
Either of the first two Dell systems are good. If it was my pick, I may go for the i7 system and install and SSD myself. The i5 in the second system is good for games, especially seeing how the 960m video card is a low-mid card these days. It was solid mid range but with the 1060 systems out, it's behind the curve now. If you are leaving the system as is, I'd go with the larger SSD, faster loading and booting is pretty good now, once you use a system with and SSD it will seem like it takes 45 minutes to boot off a standard hard drive.

However, a 300MHz difference only gives at best a minor increase in performance which you will need to use benchmarks to tell the difference in games. Also, games do not benefit from HT in a quad core CPU. HT can help improve games running on a dual core CPU if the games requires a CPU capable of processing 4 different streams of instructions.

Thus far, there has not been a game released that showed any improvements beyond 1 or 2 FPS between a quad core i5 CPU and a quad core i7 with HT.

You seem to be mixing US and Canadian prices. The links to Amazon are all to the US site with US prices. The Newegg link is for the Canadian site with Canadian prices. The following link is to Amazon's Canadian site for the Dell Inspiron 15 with the Core i5-6300HQ for $1,095 CAD.
