Just like in title. Do I need CPU (example i7 6700K) To run GPU like... GTX 1070 or 1080 ?

Now I'm using AMD FX-6350

So will my current processor run Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU ?

(And also I know that I will have lower FPS in games with my cpu)

Solution
It most likely will run it, with bottlenecks. Every system bottlenecks, but on games that are CPU intensive there will be a bottleneck ocurring that will most likely be noticeable.

You can upgrade your CPU to something like the i5-6600K and it will run efficiently for you. You could also wait a month or two and go with AMD's Ryzen/Zen or Intel's Kaby Lake releases. But a 6700K would also fit nicely for more CPU intensive games that can utilise the extra threads. Such as BF1
