hi guys, i'm in the process of updating my pc.
The thing is, i don't know if my BIOS is up to date with the cpu i have ordered and i don't know where to check it so i turn to you guys fo help once again.

i have ordered an i7 3770 processer to go with my MSI P67A-G45 (B3) motherboard.
currently it states that my current BIOS version is v1.9.
feel free to ask for more information if needed, and thank you in advance :)
Merry Christmas!

Solution
After the installation, before you power on. With power off, press the "Clear CMOS" button on the backplate on the rear of the computer. It is a small black button next to the optical port. After pressing this button, the computer should automatically boot, and the BIOS should find/register the new CPU.
