I have an LG Vista Android 5.1.1 phone, I am constantly listening to music on it. But if I try to bass boost or sometimes use the equalizer at all, the music sounds like it's going through some weird robotic sound filter, it's terrible.
In the music player I use most of the time, the boosts and equalizer work, but only for .flac and even then sometimes the distortion returns. It's awful and I've never experienced this on any of my other android devices (which is quite a bit).
