I want to know how I would like to know how to set up my MoCa Adpters which are from yitong technology which I have two. My question is the cable wire comes out of the wall and there is a splinter which is an actiontronix 2 way splitter 5-1002 MHz with one in connecter which is connected to the black cable wire and on the other end has two -3.5dB connectors one goes to the XFINITY X1 STB and the second one which is a long white coax line to my Zoom Cable modem slash router in the dinning room. Can some please tell me how I would set it up with the splitter ? Because the modem is not close to the cable box

Solution
It depends on the moca adapter. Some you can disconnect the cable modem coax. Hook it the IN port on the moca adapter and hook a short coax from the OUT port on the moca to your cable modem. Others you need to place a splitter in the cable before the cable modem.

I suspect you have a larger issue though. The xfintiy x1 device uses moca for their whole house dvr stuff. If you install your moca devices you will interfere. If you only have a single cable box in your house...ie no fancy watch in any room dvr stuff...there are people that say you can place a filter on the xfinity box and run moca. Not sure if that is true or not but the xfintiy x1 defiantly does not work well with moca adapters.
