Hi
i want to replace my HDD from my laptop with SSD but however, it doesnt have dvd or optical disc.
I have Paragon bootable CD and can use on my desktop (has optical disc).
So my question is, is it possible to migrate OS from laptop HDD to SSD using my desktop computer?

Solution
I don't know what a "Paragon bootable CD" is or what it's designed for, so I'll let that pass. (Although I'm guessing it has something to do with a disk-cloning operation).

Anyway...why not make life easier for yourself and simply purchase one of those relatively inexpensive USB-to-SSD cables (there are a zillion of them available from vendors) and clone the contents of your laptop's HDD to the SSD attached as a USB device to the cable's connector. A simple & straightforward operation. I suppose you can use that Paragon program assuming it's a disk-cloning program. Or there are many freely-available disk-cloning programs available on the net. Do a Google search and learn about them and disk-cloning in general.

Just one thing...

Just one thing more...it's assumed that the size of the SSD you've purchased (or plan to purchase) has sufficient disk-space to accommodate ALL the contents from your laptop's HDD. Capiche?
Furthermore, that your present system boots & functions without problems.
