Would a GTX 1060 work with a 240watt PSU? I already have a GTX 1050 and a Dell OptiPlex 390. I am wondering if I can use a 1060 fine if I add an adaptor to a sata power cable.

No even the stock card will draw up to 120W that is a heavy push for a 240W. I wouldn't go anything lower than a 350W.

Here is the 400W TFX upgrade. It's not as good in quality as the 240W unfortunately.

TFX supplies above 350W are not easy to find as it isn't exactly a popular upgrade size.

Here is the bare minimum but with a better warranty.
