So I dropped my computer about 4-5 months ago and since then it only worked sitting on its side, whenever I would stand it up I'd have 3 fps in games, on the side about 150. I could not find out the possible root of the problem until I noticed that the VRM heatsink was loose and wobbly on the mobo. ( Task manager shows no usage on anything, although HDD does spike sometimes) Now however it doesn't even work on its side. It is extremely, painfully slow, barely loads chrome. In bios the mobo says the cpu is 99c right after the pc starts. Also I have been getting the DPC WATCHDOG error message for a while, tried all the online fixes as well. I also thought it's a possibility that the video card was the real culprit, maybe only working properly when pc is on the side? What could be causing the issue? If it was the VRM heatsink then why did it work until now? Maybe my ssd/hdd are not set up properly? GPU failure? My pc stats are as follows :
MOBO: msi h97 gaming 3
CPU: i7-4790k
GPU: Twin frozr 7870( run with catalyst and crimson, no difference)
RAM: 16gb (2x4gb, 2x4gb of different speeds and brand)
SSD: 120GB 840 evo (boot)
HDD: 500GB (old ass hd, has 2 fans on it.)
PSU: 750W bronze
Case has 5-7 regular size fans and 1 huge one on top.

Any ideas or advice on diagnosis would be greatly appreciated.

TLDR: Pc runs slower than phone, task manager, resource monitor show nothing.
