Is there a free way to keep my data secure?

Hi everyone, so I have a 500 GB hard drive but I am starting to run low on space now, I only have around 100 GB left and I know it would get swallowed easily because I make videos.
Now I wanna replace this with a 1 tb hard drive which would cost me around 2000 ruppees (20$) because I'll be selling this one to them.
Anyway I don't care much about the videos but I have 23 games in my PC right now and I want them to be safe.
Now, for my documents and pictures I have a USB which easily stores it all.
But for games I am gonna need around 30 GB. I do have google drive which gives me 15 gigs but if you guys could suggest another one that would be great.

If you are asking for a free cloud storage service, try the ones in the links below. I use all of them and they work great. I also use Google drive. The reason I use several different ones is to have extra backup copies of my files. They are free, so why not. I do not store sensitive data on these services, so I don't worry about my account being hacked. Plus, these services do offer great security, and that's nice to know.

So clone everything from the 500GB to the 1TB
Wipe the 500GB and sell it.

Make a 7zip passworded archive with them and you will be absolutely fine.

Or a truecrypt container file, but the 1st option is easier.

If you have problems with space, 7-zip each game in separate archive and delete the original folder after each packing. That way you will not need too much space.

perhaps not base in the good old US of A? perhaps not with the disposable income of a member of said country?

And it's Voila! not voile.

"...because I'll be selling this one to them. "

Which is why I said:
"So clone everything from the 500GB to the 1TB

I'm not seeing the issue here. Why wouldn't cloning be an option?

The OP has been in this forum since November 2012 and I'm thinking by now he must have read and learned enough to know what to do in his situation... so I don't think he would need help figuring out what to do, if he had the chance and time to clone the drive.

This is what I read: "I wanna replace this (500 GB HDD) with a 1 tb hard drive which would cost me (only) around 2000 ruppees (20$) because I'll be selling (trading-in) this one to them". It's like when you buy a new car and give them your's as trade-in, you essentially sell it to them for an agreed amount of money to your credit. Best Buy takes Trade-ins, and Newegg and Amazon sell used refurbished items so this way of doing business is nothing new.

And apparently it's a store because "them" is what you call a business, not a friend or acquaintance you're trading with, and I don't know of any formal business that would trust you to deliver a trade-in after you have taken the new merchandise out of the store.
That's unless it's an informal business (second hand store, or similar), if the 1TB is used and worth $20, then he could take the HDD home and have the chance to clone the 500GB HDD to the 1TB... and he wouldn't be asking for recommendations on a cloud service with enough free storage space.
