Hi.

I want to play and record gameplays at 1080p 60fps only with Intel Quick Sync. The game is Wow (wotlk).

Searching on web sites I found several tutorials and guides oriented to whose have at least 1 external (or dedicated, through PCI-Express) graphic card and that guides explain only "how to record with Intel Quick Sync PLAYING WITH/CONNECTED TO/USING THE EXTERNAL GRAPHIC CARD".

Because I don't have a dedicated graphic card to play with, my withis (if is possible) to play and record with Intel Processors.

The PC's spec are as follows:
- Processor: Intel i5 6500 (non K) with integrated graphic processor: Intel 530.
- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170-Gaming 3 Revision 1.1 with support to Intel Quick Sync.
- RAM Memory (DDR4): Kingston Hyper Fury 2 sticks x 4Gb at 2130Mhz each one, in total 8 Gb.
- Monitor (redundant but for info): LG 24MP58VQ-P
- All ultimate corresponding Drivers and Intel controllers installed from Gigabyte web site.

In my game, Wow, I activated V-Sync to make same frame-rate generation with the recording frame rate.

I have tried to achiev this using OBS (following the guides on the internet), Dxtory and MSI Afterburner. The results were as follows:

- With OBS and Dxtory, the final video was not smooth, there was blink and lose of frame.
- With MSI Afterburner the final video was smooth but the video didnt sinchronize with the audio correctly; sometimes the audio is more faster than the video and/or vice-versa.

Hope you guys could help me with this.

Thanks.

Considering your specs it will not be possible. Even if you lower the Wow graphics stright to the minimum your Ram and CPU are at full usage with wow and the recorder program. The only way to do that is to get an external graphic card or 3200 Mhz ram in dual channel on an i7 of the same generation...

With "Ram and CPU are at full usage with wow and recorder program" you are saying about the amount of Ram memory used and the percent of CPU used, I checked and I saw that the total Ram memory ocupied was 2.4Gb and I have 8Gb of the ram, the % of CPU usage was in average 56% or 60% max, both with playing and recording.

And my motherboard only can handle memory sticks at 2133 Ghz, no more. If I connect a ram stick with more than 2133Ghz, the mboard will recognize it until 2133Ghz.

Maybe (I can be at wrong) the solution is about to how to configure the parameters of OBS or Dxtory, or what CODEC will gonna use to achiev this.

Anyway thanks for fastest respond.
