Hey peps! I have a fx 8320e cpu(under clocked fx 8320) that I want to over clock :) please help

1. How do I overclock the cpu? I want around a 4.0ghz overclock and I don't want it to draw more than 125w. I am only targeting around 4.0-4.2ghz and I'm not looking for anything higher so please give me the right settings to save as much power as possible and still get a decent boost. I have a decent motherboard(asus 970 pro gaming/aura) and a decent cooler (cm hyper 212 evo). At full load, the cpu never went above 35° and 70w so there are plenty of headroom for overclocking! ;D

2. What should I use to stress my cpu? I'm currently using cinebench to stress my cpu and cpuid hwmonitor to monitor the temps and stuff. A lot of people use prime95 but I heard that it's not safe for fx cpus. Also, are there anymore programs I should install?

3. Should I overclock my ram? I have 8gb of g.skill ripjaws x 1600mhz. I saw that 1866mhz gave extra performance on the fx cpus.

4. The games I play and wanna play are forza horizon 3, gta 5, csgo, battlefield 1, and overwatch. Will I get a decent boost after overclocking my cpu?

5. After I overclock my fx 8320e to 4.0+ it will perform same as the fx 8350 right?

Thanks for reading and replying! <3 ;D

Videos are not best way to learn that stuff, better look arond for posts with AMD overclocking. Check manual too. Basically you enter BIOS, find where multiplier is, set to manual and raise it a notch. Test and repeat with higher value. Once it gets unstable find CPU voltage settings in BIOS, set to manual and raise a notch, test again, rince and repeat and see where that gets you to. Can't stress enough to keep tabs on temperatures, Use AMD Overdrive as it's most accurate with AMD systems and also has stability test and valid benchmark, Keep logging turned on so you can tell what was happening during tests/benchmark.
Just don't expect miracles because of OCing. For every 5% of OC you may get one or couple of frames better result in...
Overclocking an "E" processor defeats it's purpose (to use less power).
Easiest way to OC is to set higher multiplier with appropriate higher voltage. That way you don't have to OC memory or get faster RAM which doesn't help much anyway.
If you OC it to levels of 835o you'll get same performance because it's same processor chosen for it's ability to run at lower power requirements.
