Hello, I'm new to overclocking and really need help.

I watched some benchmarks on how GTA V supposedly run around 70-100fps on ultra setting with GTX1060 but I managed get around 45 to 68 only. Even after I overclocked, there's no difference at all.

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? ;(

Most of these benchmarks use i7 so maybe my CPU bottlenecks the GPU? Currently using i5-4460 3.2Ghz as of now along side 8 GB RAM.

This is what I did with MSI Afterburner..still no fps gain whatsover.

No fps wont be consistent. Games just dont work like that. Rises and falls are normal, especially if you have CPU bottleneck, which your first post suggests. Hard to say, but check your CPU usage. If it's maxed out you have your answer. OCing teh GPU wont help in that case.

Something is wrong with Drivers Nvidia or GTA V, because one month ago I could get 70FPS on high Stable, now I get on Normal 60fps with drops to 30fps...

First off raise your voltage up to the max, then reset your memory clock and keep raising your core clock in increments until your OC fails. Use Kompressor fuzzy donut stress to test each raise, and when it crashes, you know you've hit your limit. Then you can start raising memory clock. Bear in mind you may have to reboot your system after OC Failure as it'll get stuck at factory stock speeds until you do. You may get a little more out of it yet, but I wouldnt expect huge fps increases from what you have now.

Your CPU may be bottlenecking the card slightly, as GTA is pretty CPU intensive (there are worse games) but easiest way to find out is to check your CPU usage. If its at or close to 100% you have your answer.

AA will make a big difference to framerate in GTA V too, so turn that down and you'll probably see your fps go up. It isnt the best console port so doesnt look great with low AA but it'll produce a smoother gameplay. You cant expect 100fps ultra with that CPU and GPU in that game though.

Yeah but shouldn't I be getting 60fps constant at least sometimes it dropped to 38 min for like 5seconds and goes back up to 60. I checked drivers and everything but still..Anyway I will give it a try.
