Updated information below original post. Still having issues. Please help!

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I'm out of options:

mobo: h97 gigabyte gaming 3
i5 4460k i think? cant' remember which to be honest
radeon r9 270x gfx
psu rosewill hive 650s
windows 10

I got a 'gray' screen with vertical bars on back to back days of gaming, randomly, rebooted, fixed itself. Then i got it at desktop. I tried to get into safe mode to run a diagnostic and second I did it froze again with gray screen. Since then, I can't boot to anything but a black screen. I can't get into BIOS or any beeps.

Attempted the following: New monitor, new HDMI, unseating CMOS, new CMOS battery, unseating ram, checking all leads, booting with all usb's unplugged, removing everything and power cycling out pc then trying to boot again, and removing gfx card. Booted after removing gfx(to black screen no display), no beep codes or anything which leads me to sadly think its the motherboard?

UPDATE: Tested PSU with paperclip test, fan powered up and seemed to start fine. Thus, rrdered new mobo, installed, PC booted with no display, again. I checked that I connected monitor to PC via hdmi at the ports by the usb (not the display ports going into gfx) and still no display. Tried reseating ram, tried booting without ram(pc powered on then off after 5secs). If it was indeed the gfx and not the motherboard, then I would still get a display as I have an i5 and they have onboard graphics and I'm not connected to the gfx display ports. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Well it appears that way but was hoping to get some guidance on what else I can troubleshoot prior to spending 250 on a mobo.

Pull the gpu, use the mobo connection for the monitor, in bios set the primary gpu to the igpu not the pcie card.
Windows 10 has nothing to do with the bios. Soon as you hit the power button, start punching F2 or DEL (whatever your pc requies) to enter bios. If Windows starts loading, you missed it, start over.

Chances are good it's a gpu issue. Not a mobo issue. The igpu is part of the cpu, separate from gpu on the mobo systems.

I pulled the card and tried to boot from onboard and couldn't get a display.

Then its the MOBO. A friend had similar issue and it was the MOBO . He had dead capacitors . Just took the pc to a service and theyv changed them + they said there was dust on the mobo too. Try cleaning it with compressed air (air under pressure).

It is likely that it is a graphics card problem, I got a dodgy card a couple years ago, as soon as I booted up my pc I had weird horizontal red and white lines all over the place. Think it turned out to be a vram problem. So it's not completely identical to your problem but it is worth noting, if you have another gcard you should try putting that in, if not you should really google your issues, should be a lot of helpful threads out there, don't want to buy all new hardware without knowing for sure what the problem is. Here's a picture of how bad my screen looked lol

Mobo is clean, i sprayed the hell out of the entire case already as a first step. Nothing looks fried but obviously wouldn't be able to tell that just from looking.

If it was solely the gfx card I should've at least been able to get a display after removing it

Anyway to tell if it has integrated or not?

I already tried the RAM, 1 by 1, in different slots; I just tested the PSU with the paperclip test and the fan came on as well.

Yeah, I have an i5 and did a search and it has integrated. Still same thing with the ram, yes. So I think sadly I'm going to have to replace the motherboard.
