When starting up the PC it does the usual, start fans, hdd makes some noise etc but once I should have reached the windows login screen I get an alive screen that gets signal but it doesn't show anything except black. Trying to log in doesn't work but I can change caps lock numlock etc on my keyboard and my mouse lights up. Turning off the computer results in a slow shutdown. I updated the bios before swap.

As title fore-mentioned, I'm using a hdmi cable from the 1060 to my monitor and on startup the fans start spinning on the gpu and then slowly go into sleep-mode. The hdmi cable works as I've been switching between the Gigabyte Windforce 1060 6GB and my older Gainward GTX 680 2GB. I used driver uninstaller at the first swap but to no use. I can not get hold of another video cable as of right now if the port is faulty. The 6 pin is connected and it's sitting inside of the main pci slot.

Edit: used dual monitors before swap not after since I have the wrong DVI cable
