I purchased a Gigabyte GTX 970 just under a year ago, however, one of the DVI ports has discontinued working and no longer outputs a signal.

I managed to lose my receipt for it (for the store which I purchased it from), but, I still have the card which says it has a warranty from Gigabyte, along with their contact details.

Will the store I purchased it from still issue a refund or replacement (maybe they have a database of serial numbers for the products they have distributed), or will I have to contact Gigabyte and ask them to issue a replacement? And if so, will they?

Thanks

Most stores only have a 30-day replacement policy - of which you are clearly over the time limit for.

You're better off contacting Gigabyte and replacing the card under warranty. It shouldn't be an issue since Gigabyte has a 3 year warranty for GPUs.
