I currently am running one SSD which has the OS and one HDD with other things. I'm trying to connect another SSD but whenever I do i get the 0d error code which is "reserved for future" errors and the computer won't boot. If i disconnect it again then everything boots fine. Any suggestions?

From the manual there are two different sets of ports. My SSD and HDD are plugged into the Intel X79 chipset. I've tried all four other ports on the ASMedia ASM1061 controller and none of them work. Going to double check my bios.

2 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), gray, by Intel X79 chipset
4 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), gray, by ASMedia ASM1061 controller

I checked in my bios and all the ASM1061 controllers are enabled for those ports. I have hot plug disabled but that shouldn't matter since I tried connecting it when the computer was off.
