Ive been trying to install my new Western Digital 1TB HDD into my computer but for some strange reason it's not showing up in Disk Management to be initialized. This is my 3rd drive with my first being another HDD and my second being an SSD. Thing I have tried:
Checked ASRock UEFI to see if it shows up there and it does.
Check diskpart and disk list to see if it shows up there and it does not
Disconnected and reconnected SATA cables and Power Supply plug to make sure they're firmly in, twice .
Tried two different SATA cables
Tried rescanning disks multiple times
Checked to see if I need to update drivers, Windows said I was up to date.
I've searched online everywhere but I can find a solution that works for me.
