1. what do i connect to power A or B, and do i use A or B to connect other fans
2. did i do it correcly? do i not just connect more wires on B i think and that way i put more fans?

Solution
A connects to a molex power connector from your power supply.
B allows you to connect other devices that need power to the same plug (e.g. more fans).
The wire to the motherboard allows the motherboard to detect fans speed.

Why use the fan to molex adapter at all? You can just plug the brown 3-pin fan connector to the motherboard.
