Hi I'm looking to build a PC for roughly around 800 pounds. This needs to include a keyboard, a monitor, windows (8.1?) and SSD as well as the usual core components. I was recommended a Geforce GTX 1060 but not sure what components this would work with (If there is a better alternative please do recommend).

What will you be doing on the PC - gaming, video editing, coding?
I dont think Windows 8.1 is a good option. Try Windows 10.

Most often just gaming. Not too sure whats good for what though. It will be my first build. I'll check out that link, thanks.

Hi. Sorry I have posted this twice, but the first post was mistakenly done in the wrong section of the forums I now realise.

I'm looking to build a PC for roughly around 800 pounds. This needs to include a keyboard, a monitor, windows (10) and SSD as well as the usual core components.

Been playing about with what I want and am currently looking at this.

It doesn't include an operating system - are there any 1-time purchases of windows 10 about?

Also does anyone have comments on any improvements I could make/issues with compatibility? Mostly used for gaming.
