New pc, very high ping even though my internet is fine

I got a new PC today how ever when i try to play an online game my ping skyrockets to 500+, i have no idea why as my internet is fine and when i do an internet speed test it tells me my ping is 21, the only games i have downloaded so far is CSGO and Minecraft. My frames are over 60 on the highest settings. My ping is the only problem and i really need help fixing it.

Well, if your PC is fine and the Speed Test showing 21 ping, then you are fine.

You can try different server, farthest away from you, to do the speed test. Sometimes there are bottlenecks on the internet. You can try ping <minecraft server ir CSGO server> -t and see how the ping fluctuates.

You can ping -t some other site and see how the ping jumps. Just like Sydney said, it seems like it is not your problem. To be absolutely sure, if you have a wireless router, you can bypass it and go WIRE directly from the modem to your PC and see if that helps. Check if you have some porno downloading from last night. :)
