Hello everyone ! First time builder here. Please look at the pictures and tell me what I am doing wrong. I have followed the manual and online guides and when I reach at the stage to screw the cooler on, one of the 4 screws is like half an inch in the air and when I try to get it into the hole, I have to apply quite a bit of pressure as it refuses to be lowered down. I am worried that this might put way too much force on the cpu/ motherboard and cause issues. Please help ! Thanks !

UPDATE EDIT: I have not tightened the other screws, they are barely in ! Enough to hold in place

Hmm I just checked and everything seems fine, unless I didnt understand what you mean. The bracket cant be put upside down, obviously. And that little white sticking out cylindrical thing goes into one of the hollow points on the bracket as well. So I think it is placed properly. Rotating the heatsink doesnt do anything as far as I can tell.
Everything aligns well just one of the screws is in the air. Im starting to think maybe the bracket is faulty but I looked around it and it seems to be okay, nothing sticking out/ out of position etc. So I am confused now.

I know that is what is left to do but as I said, one of the screws is tilted into the air and I need to apply quite a bit of force JUST to make it touch the screw hole. And I feel like that is a bit too much for the cpu PLUS the extra pressure incurred from the tightening of the screws. In guides / videos etc, all four screws were pretty much in the same position and it didnt need force..
I got a couple of pics in poor lighting , let me show you .
