Can i replace my laptop's dvd player with an ssd?

i got this laptop : http://www.toshiba.co.il/en/discontinued-products/satellite-c660d-1g6/
and i was wandering if i can replace my dvd with an ssd .
i hear that it is possible sometimes !

Sometimes, it is. What you want to do is see if you can find a hard drive caddy for your model laptop. A quick search on Google for one came up empty, but maybe you'll have better luck. I'd also check in with Toshiba to see if they can answer that for you or see if they offer a drive caddy.

yea it should work,a common laptop dvd drive to 2.5 caddy should work in theory, because most laptops use the same form factor for the dvd drive, the most common difference is the thickness, good luck finding the right one
