Steam Client Bootstrapper is causing my hard drive to run at 100% constantly.
I was playing a Steam game (Civilisation 6) and I noticed my fans revving up for hours.
When I quit the game, I checked Task Manager and noticed Steam Client Bootstrapper (32) running at 100% of hard drive usage.
I then disconnected from the WiFi to see if that would make any difference but it continues at 100%.
I left it for a while to see if it would stop on its own, but it didn't.
I killed the process and my laptop returned to 'normal'.
I am running Windows 10 x64 with Steam fully updated etc.
Just seems like a software bug to me - certainly not the first I've come across from Steam/Steam games.
Any suggestions, or is it up to Steam to fix?
Thanks
