So I'm upgrading my system, from an AMD fx 6300 to an I5 6600k (also compatible mobo and ram). After Reinstalling windows 10, will all of my data from when i was using the 6300 be accessible? or will i need to purchase another hhd? Thanks! (PS I'm pretty new to this stuff)
When switching to AMD to Intel, will I have access to all my old files and data?

If you've only got one hdd you'll have to format it for the Intel system.
Otherwise, you'll have to buy another hdd install whatever on it, while it's installed on the Intel system
Connect the old hdd, but programs on it wont work
