compatibility question about a new graphics card and existing components

My friends graphics card just conked out, he has an Asus P8Z77-V LX mobo and he was going to get an Asus Dual GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, is that compatible with it? My other friend made our rigs and he's on vacation, and that card is currently on sale. Is there anything else we should know before we purchase it ie. compatibility wise? Thanks a bunch! :D

The Gpu will work with no problems at all on your motherboard it has a PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot and just put the gpu in that slot and your good to go.
