Hey so I recently finished building my first gaming PC and when I started to enter the Bios it freezes on me after some time it can range from 5-20min before it freezes. This really sucks because I haven't gotten to install windows or anything on it to actually use it. What could possibly be the problem and solution to that problem?
Here are my specs if this is important:
MotherBoard: Asus Z170-E LGA1151
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K @ 3.50GHz
SSD: Samsung 2.5-Inch 250 GB 750 EVO
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX
CPU Cooler: Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 74.3 CFM
Tower Case: Deepcool TESSERACT SW ATX Mid Tower Case

Any help would be appreciated because I was really excited about this build but now it is starting to become more trouble than it is worth.

Solution
Here

You download the ISO and burn it. Or the other file and extract it to flash drive

Then boot from it. Do a few pasees or do it overnight. If there's more than 1 stick do 1 at a time. If it brings up errors it maybe faulty

Sorry for the dumb question. I understand that memtest is used to see if your RAM is working or not, but how do you run a memtest? Is there some button I press on the motherboard that I need to find in the manual?
