Hard drive lost about 800gb when formating windows

so i formatted windows, And now my 3tb drive is only 2tb. In disk management i can see about 800gb unassigned space But when i right click it everything is blanked out.. I tried increasing the volume of my 2tb which did not work....

Anyone know how i can get this space back?

1. "so i formatted windows"...specifically, what did you do?
2. For the boot drive, a 3TB drive must be formatted as GPT, not MBR. Otherwise, it will max out at 2TB.
3. Please post a screencap of your Disk Management window, so that we're all on the same page.

Thank you for answering!

I put in the cd but it would not let me repair, said it was not supported so i continued to do a reinstall, When i came to the partition screen it said i could not use the partitions there so i had to do the following in cmd

diskpart
list disk
select disk 0
clean

Its in Norwegian so let me know if you need anything translated. As you see there i see alot of the missing space as "unassigned"
