Hello, I am looking for a component to increase my overall performance on my gaming PC (increase performance on gaming and just internet browsing,) and I have hit a roadblock, I have $225 available but I want some leftover and I need to decide on either a SanDisk SSD PLUS 2.5" 480GB for $150 or 16GB of Patriot RAM DDR3 1600mhz for around $90-$100. Which one is better/worth the money and will increase performance more?

Solution
Bro Never A Game Uses 16 Gb Rams

For Example The Needed Ram Of bf1 Is 16gb But As The Masters Of memory here Says It Will Not Need 16gb Ram At All And U can Close Some Programms Which Isnt Necessary To Run With Games And U Can Play Very Well Until QHD :) And For 4k for Example 12Gb Or 10Gb Ram Is Recommended Which Require A Powerful Gpu And Cpu At Ultra Settings So No Worry :)

Choose The Ssd :)

AS Long AS U Got 8gb Ram ( If U Have 8gb Ram Now Dont Buy Ram )
And U know The ddr3 1600mhz Ram nowadays Will Not HElp U Improve Performance With recent Games Nowadays :(

So Buy The SSd It Increase For Sure :)

Regards :)

Thank you, but I have a question. The recommended ram for some games is 16gb and that's what I'm confused about RAM-wise, any thoughts on that?
