Hi there. I recently bought a Radeon AMD 240GB SSD, and I installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 on it today to use in my computer. When I set everything up and got onto the desktop, I noticed that every few minutes or so the disk usage jumped to 100% in task manager for a few seconds, sometimes even for a couple minutes. During this time I could not perform most actions or the computer would freeze. I don't know what is causing this, and it happens regardless of what I'm doing. So far I have only been browsing the web and this has been happening. I only have 1 disk in the computer right now, which is the SSD. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hey there, Thao.

Have you noticed this happening after a Windows update? There have been a lot of reports on high disk usage related to OS issues. So I'd recommend that you check for available updates and install them to see if that fixes things up.
Another option you could try is to check for a firmware update for your SSD model. You could also give it a go with a different SATA port and different cables, to see if the issue still persists.
You should also test it with a diagnostic tool, just to be on the safe side.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.
