My brother recently asked for a corsair h100i for Christmas. He got the iteration from 2012/2013. Would there be any compatibility issues with the cooling of it? As we tried installing and the fans weren't spinning (likely power/another issue), and the temperatures were unnaturally high. I tried re-mounting it and the same issue occurred.
TL;DR: Is a Corsair H100i version (2012-2013) too outdated for the Intel i7 6700k?
Any ideas?
