I'm having a hard time choosing either the RX 480 or the GTX 1060

I'm not sure what to get since the RX 480 is better than the GTX 1060 in DX 12 titles, whilst they perform exactly the opposite of that in DX 11!

My questions here are:

1. Will the RX 480 have more driver updates than the GTX 1060 in the future?

2. Will the GTX 1060 gain significant performance in DX 11 against the RX 480, or is it just a minor increase?

3. Is it true that the Pascal cards are getting DX 12 optimization?

Sorry if my questions are really dumb, I'm just new to PC Gaming.

First off, The GTX 1060 has DX12 support, and as of now, it is superior to the RX 480. It's hard to tell if the 480 will get updates, only AMD knows that. Plus, they go mainly drive updates based off new games and feedback. Honestly, either one would work for now. They say that the RX 480 will have superior DX12 support down the line, but honestly, can people tell the future? Will game developers will take advantage?

I will say this, if you get a GTX 1060, it will not hurt you down the line. If you see a decrease in performance, it will not be revolutionary. If you still cannot decide, why not save up and get a GTX 1070?
