I have i7 4790k for years and run normally. I replaced the stock cooler with water cooler today. When idle all the core temperature is lower than before and almost all the cores temperature are same. When I tried to run CPU, FPU, and cache stress test with aida64 my two cores (core 0 and 1) got really hot (could reach 100 celcius) and the other cores temperature are lower than before replacing the cooler. Any idea?
