Solution

OK...two options:

1. Clean install on the new SSD.
This requires a reinstall of everything else. The actual Steam games can probably be moved, but everything else will require a full reinstall.

2. Cloning.
This just moves everything from the old drive to the new drive
This requires that the total used space be below 200GB.

How much total used space is on your current C drive or partition?
How much of that is Doc/Music/Video/Steam games?
Do you have another HDD handy. An external, maybe?

OK...you're going down a couple of different paths.

DO you want the OS on it?
Or just Steam and some games?

What size is this SSD?

There are several that will do a cloning operation.
But not "only windows". It is mostly all or nothing.

That is what I was speaking of in Option 2 above.

Well..hang on...:)

Here is the specific steps and tool to help you actually do this:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the original boot partitions, here:
