Hello guys,
Before 2-3 days, I bought a motherboard and cpu, I build up the pc, and start installing softwares etc. After an 2 hours work, the pc shut down with no reason. I started it up, and keep working on it, but after 2 hours again, the pc shut down again...my question is why ? Where i have to search the problem ? The pc config is:
- i5-650
- asus p7q57-m DO (motherboard)
- 6 Gigs of ram (2x2GB hynix and 1x2GB crucial)
- GTX 260 XFX Black Edition
- Corsair VS650 brand new psu
- SSD Kingston HyperX 120GB
- WD 250GB
- Windows 10 64bit
Could be the OS ?
...
I checked the supported RAM list, and i've seen that the memory is not for this motherboard, is this the problem ? I put it to work on a kit of hynix but..i dont know..pls help

Solution
My best bet is that the problem lies in your Tier four Corsair VS series PSU.

"Built down to a low price. Not exactly the most stable units ever created. Very basic safety circuitry or even thin gauge wiring used. Not for gaming rigs or overclocking systems of any kind. Avoid unless your budget dictates your choice."
PSU Tier list: www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

I suggest that you get a new PSU. Aim for a Tier two, preferably Tier one if you could afford it.
Anything from Seasonic is great. For you 500W range will do.

Here i suggest Seasonic M12II-520 EVO (80+ Bronze, fully modular, Tier two)
