I bought the netgear r6220 router and hooked it up to my modem and laptop wired and it works fine but everytime i connect my actual pc or wireless devices to it such as my phone, i get the dns service error every 5-10 minutes. unplugging the router and modem only solves the problem for about 5 minutes and sometimes not at all. i would then have to completely reset the router to get it working again.
I only have a basic understanding of networking knowledge so i just let the router automatically configure the network Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
