I have just purchased a new Dell 3620 w/ a 6700k and 32gb ram. I also purchased a new M.2 PCI Express SSD that I want to use as the boot drive. I have a few questions because I am new to the PCIe SSD setups.

1. Are there drivers or BIOS updates I need to install onto the T3620 to use the new PCIe SSD or since it already comes with the 2280 slot, is the BIOS ready to go?
2. Not sure if the new PC comes with a OS disk or thumb drive but assuming it does not, can I pull the OS key off the system to use on the new install?
3. What is the best procedure to install the OS onto the PCIe SSD and get it running smoothly?

Thanks for the help!

Well, I believe I have answered most of my questions.
Looks like the T3620 should be ready to accept the m.2 drive and will not need any updates to the bios to utilize it.
I will need to D/L the Microsoft media creation tool, create a thumb drive copy of my Win10 OS, remove the HDD from the unit and install the m.2, then use the thumb drive to load the OS onto the m.2.
Then I can add my storage HDDs to the system.

Lastly, as this will be a dedicated NVR type PC to record video for my CCTV cameras. I have picked up (2) Seagate 8tb Skyhawk HDDs to use to store the video. These HDDs are specifically designed for NVRs. The last question I have is..........
Can I span these two drives to make one 16tb drive and still reap the benefits of the drive characteristics?
