Is it worthwhile gaming wise to buy a i5 6600k? For gaming. I just bought the rx 480.

The RX 480 is a powerful card, and probably as much as anyone could need for 1080p, possibly 1440p, but you really don't need that much CPU power to match it with, and getting a K CPU gives diminishing returns, particularly as the motherboards get really expensive if you want to take advantage of the overclocking. And you need a good cooler.
