Hello! I am building a computer. I already have most of the parts. Here's what I have:
Thermaltake Armor VA8000BWS
ASUS X99 Deluxe II Mobo
64GB 2133 mHz Ripjaws V RAM
i7 6800k Broadwell-E CPU
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Founder's edition (8GB, EVGA)
Prolly going to get EVGA 750W PSU (almost def.)
For HDD, I have 1TB WD Caviar Green for storage
For Boot drive, Prolly gonna buy Samsung 961 256GB (Or maybe 950 256GB, deciding on that - it's an M.2 PCIe 3.0 SSD)

BUT, I need a cooler for my CPU. I am NOT going to overclock, as I do not want to void my warranty or take and of the risks associated (I have firmly decided this already). Based on my build, should I go for a liquid cooler or a fan-based cooler for my CPU? I have a budget up to around $125 or so, and my case is massive and can probably fit most coolers. Any ideas on what I should do for a cooler? I am lost and need some help with this one. Thanks for the help!

And please note - I am somewhat concerned with color scheme - most of my build is black. I will go for most things, but I am very against the Noctua color scheme, despite their good reputation.

Although, I only suggested the ones above because they fit within budget. Do you really need one of those, especially when not overclocking? No, absolutely not. You could fit any CPU cooler within a budget of 20-30 dollars and they would do more than fine, even with a bit of overclocking.

If you are not going to overclock, why are you getting a "K" series CPU? Go with the non-k I7-6700 and a Z170 motherboard, and save some money? Also, you would not need an aftermarket cooler as the stock cooler that comes with the 6700 is plenty strong in a non-overclocked application.

I already have all of the parts that I specified above, so that isn't an option at this point. I got the 6800k because I am doing partially CAD work and also a bit of gaming on this machine, and so I emailed Intel. They suggested the 6800k for me.

Best wishes and a Happy New Year!
Hope your new build is a great success!

Looking at the options you gave me, I like the H5 Universal. However, upon reading the reviews, it seems to be quite large. On a motherboard like the x99 Deluxe II, do you think I will have access to all 8 of my RAM slots? I only need 4 for now, but if I ever want to upgrade, I want to make sure I'm able to.
