Does wifi extender works on modem-router combo?

Comcast? I've found that they do not like Wifi to wifi type extenders. Seems to cannot, but no traffic... :-( Had a Comcast Support tech confirm it once as well. I now will only use Access Points wire/cabled to the Combo Cable modem/routers.

Like I said, if it can be a cabled Access Point and not a WiFi to Wifi extension... The device will 1, work better, and 2, not be blocked by some of the Combo units programming.
The best way ti use the Combo units is in Bridge Mode and have your own router and WiFi setup.
