Does it matter what PCI E Slot I use for my graphics card on a Gigabyte Z170 GA-Z170-HD3?

I plan to put a Sapphire RX 480 into a Gigabyte Z170 GA-Z170-HD3, and I wanted to know if it would make a performance impact on the card or mobo. I purely would like to do this for aesthetic purposes, and it would look much nicer. I have seen people ask this question, but they were all older threads and seeing as this is a z170 mobo, it is of much higher quality. Does it matter for the card?

The total specs incase needed are:

Gigabyte Z170 GA-Z170-HD3
Sapphire RX480 4GB
16GB PNY Anarchy (2x8)
2x1 TB WD Blue HDD
Intel core i5 6600k
Asus Optical drive
Deepcool Maelstrom 120k
Corsair cx600

Can you rate the build maybe? I am not really looking for other choices, as I only need to purchase the Mobo and Ram. BTW I went with the PNY ram because it is much cheaper than other 16GB kits and matches the blue and black theme nicely. Thanks <3

on some mainboards there is multiple pci express slots, sometimes some of those slots will only use half of the speed possible on the pci express slot depending on the card and configuration, how many cards connected

one of the slots runs at full speed, probably the firs slot but you will have to check in the manual, sometimes is the second, suggesting you to put the card there, for space and airflow

the other only at a quarter of the speed, so in this particular model, it does matter

for the gpu you want the maximum speed on the pci express slot to push as much information into the card as fast as possible, so the gpu will show as much frames per second...
