Hey there guys. I was going to send my PS4 in for repair because I wanted a new power socket for my mother board. The old one ripped off while trying to take out the power box to re-paste the PS4. So I searched online about the issue and people were saying I needed to solder it so that's what I tried to do. I payed $55 bucks for the soldering kit just to have plastic and a bit of solder get on my mother board. now I'm getting charged $80 bucks for repair and I still don't know how much it's going to cost to ship a PS4 to them. i heard it was about $70 bucks. In that case you best believe that's going to be a useless PS4, there's very little plastic on the mother board and about a finger nail amount of solder on the mother board. Can I still repair this? Or is it even messed up. I dont know untill they attach a new power socket. I'll keep you guys updated if anything happens. Thanks for all the support. One more question for anyone who has ever sent out a system about how much did it cost you. Im sending it through usps
