I'm planning to buy a new motherboard,graphics card, psu, and ram to upgrade my current pc the motherboard im about to buy is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K2RQAQY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A9RRFZDGAXG22 its capable of 2600mhz ram and im gonna get 2400mhz of https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-2x8GB-2400MHz-Desktop/dp/B00EUPV2RQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482841169&sr=8-1&keywords=2400mhz+ddr3 but i don't know if i can use the ram without damaging my cpu
im planning to buy an i7-4790k but it will be at june next year

Yes, it is OK. You can get that RAM now, and then upgrade your CPU later down the line. I usually say 2133 or 2400mhz is the sweet spot for RAM.
