I'm quite new in the PC community and wanted to build my very own PC since a long time.
So the problem is that I don't really know the tips and tricks of all this, so I can use some help to setup my fans in my new case. I did some research and this is what I created: http://pasteboard.co/eQXaF8X8D.png

  • NZXT h440
    3x120mm case fans
    2x140mm NZXT Aer RGB fans
NZXT Kraken X42 Cpu liquid cooler
FYI I'm using these components:

  • CPU: Intel core i5 6600k
    MB: Asus z170a
    GPU: Asus DUAL GTX1060 6GB
2x8GB ram DDR4 (don't know what brand i'm gonna use yet)
    Corsair VS650 psu
    WD blue 1TB HDD
    Crucial MX300 275GB SSD
If you can confirm this is a good setup please do. If you have any better solutions or you noticed I made some mistakes choosing my components, please share.

Solution
I would recommend leaving the stock front and back fans in there original configuration and then getting the kraken x62 and mounting it to the top instead of Rgb fans.also set up the radiator so it's pushing hot air through the radiator and out the top. You're Cpu temps will increase slightly but you won't damage other components by dumping hot air inside the case ( do the same thing as what is in your diagram bit have a larger water cooler and have it exhausting out the top rather than the back)

If you really want Rgb fans then by 3 140mm fans, one to replace the back stock exhaust fan and two to add to the radiator so you can push as well as pull air through the radiator and out the top of the case. Just remember if you want to get...

I'll use the 3 120mm fans that come in the case as intake on the right and the 140mm AER P that comes with the radiator on the left of the picture.
Also what PSU do you recommend?

Also I would recommend you get hyperx fury ddr4 ram as well as to get a backplate off coldzero for your gpu

Ps if money doesn't matter then ignore this but if it does it might be better to get 1 8gb stick of ram for now and then get a second later on down the line since 16 gb is kind of overkill especially for a first build. Same thing for your Cpu. If this is your first build if you're not intending to overclock just go with a i5 6500 or 6600 and then upgrade to a I7 or something later on down the line. Finally if you don't have access to Ethernet don't forget to buy a wireless card or USB adapter. Apart from that nice build, liken the case
